How to setup The Guarding Vision Application with your Arcdyn Surveillance System

One of the first things you’ll want to do when setting up your Arcdyn Camera System is to be able to view it on your mobile device or tablet.

Below is a comprehensive guide to walk you through the process of configuring the connection to Guarding Vision on your recorder, setting up your Guarding VIsion Account, logging into your Guarding Vision account in the app, and adding your system so you can view your cameras remotely.

STEP 1: ENABLE PLATFORM ACCESS ON YOUR RECORDER

You have two options. Access your NVR with your web browser or use a screen and mouse connected directly to your NVR.

There are two options to create your new Guarding Vision account. You can do this either in a web browser by going to guardingvision.com or inside the Guarding Vision App

HOW TO ENABLE PLATFORM ACCESS VIA WEB BROWSER

For your device to be able to connect to the cloud viewing platform, you must enable Platform Access

This guide will walk you through the steps to accomplish this using your computer and a webbrowser

**NOTE** This guide requires that your recorder be connected to your network, configured with an IP address, and have access to the internet.

Step One

Using Internet Explorer (on PC) or Safari (on Mac) got to the IP Address you’ve assigned to your recorder and Login. If you have not changed the password, the default login info is Username: admin & password: admin12345. We strongly suggest that you change the admin password to something other than the default as default passwords are very insecure.

Step Two

Once logged in, click on the configuration menu in the top black bar.

Step Three

In the left menu, click on Network > Basic Settings. At the bottom of this page, check the Perferred DNS Server & Alternate DNS Server fields. If both are blank, enter in the devices gateway IP address OR Google’s free DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Then Click Save.

Step Four

Next, in the left menu click on Network > Advanced Settings > Platform Access. Click the Checkbox marked ‘Enable’ to enable platform access. Click Save.

Step Five

Wait for your recorder to reboot then log back in.

Step Six

Navigate back to Configuration > Network > Advanced Settings > Platform Access and confirm that the Register Status now says ‘Online’

That’s it! You are now ready to move to the next step of adding your recorder to your cloud account.

HOW TO CREATE A GUARDING VISION ACCOUNT ON GUARDINGVISION.COM

Step One

Go to guardingvision.com and click “Register”

Step Two

Fill out your desired username, password, and select your country. If you’re in The United States, select ‘America’ across the top, then scroll down to find USA

Step Three

Select ‘OK’ to confirm your country.

Step Four

Type in your email address (it is not recogmended to register via your phone # as it can make resetting your password difficult. Then, type in the captcha verification code and hit next.

Step Five

You will receive an email with a time sensitive, 4 digit email verification code. Retreive this code from your email return to your web browser.

Step Six

Enter the code into the prompt on guardingvision.com

Step Seven

You will be forwarded to your account info page. Great Job! You are now registered with an account on guardingvision.com, you can now move on the adding your device to your Guarding Vision App.

HOW TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT VIA THE GUARDING VISION APP

APP SETUP DDNS WITH GUARDING VISION

For the DDNS to work properly you will need to have the NVR/DVR or camera correctly Port Forwarded.

In the Alias Field enter a name for your system such as Business NVR.

Tap the register mode and select Guarding Vision Domain

How To View A Uniview NVR Via EZView App

This guide will show how to view a Uniview NVR on the mobile app EZView.
You will need a network connection for this setup.

Step 1. Connect The NVR To Your Network

First, you will need to connect the NVR to your network. Taking a cat5e/cat6 cable from the LAN port on the NVR, then the other end will go to your router or network switch.

Step 2. Log Into The NVR and Enable EZCloud

We will be going through this process via the web interface on internet explorer from a local PC.
From the Live View of the NVR, Go to Setup -> Network -> EZCloud
Make sure It is set to ON and “Add without Signup” is ON, unless if you would like to have added security, switch it to OFF.

Step 4. Add the NVR

First, open the app, then click the 3 Horizontal Line icon in the top left corner

Click on Devices

Select Add

Choose Scan

Then Scan the QR Code from the web interface of the NVR

Enter a Nickname for your NVR and click Start Live View

Then you will see a Device list With your NVR, Click on it for a Pop up to appear, and select “Start Live View”
      

Then You will have a Live View of any cameras connected to the NVR!

EZCloud Displaying Offline

When setting up Remote Viewing, You may get a Success Message after scanning the QR code. However, the NVR can show as Offline on the EZView App afterwards.

On the NVR web Interface, you may get this Message:

**Network disconnected. Please check network settings such as DNS server address and port mapping. **

Here are a few tips to fix this issue:

– Make sure that the recorder is networked locally correctly.
– Wired Directly from the LAN port of the NVR to your router or network switch.

– Place the recorder on DHCP

– After Enabling DHCP, click on Save.

How To View Remotely Through Cloud Via EZStation

EZStation is a CMS for Uniview products to allow the user to allow  viewing and configuring.

Please Note

You must have a cloud account created and your device added beforehand

Step 1. Install and Run EZStation

Download the EZStation Program here

Upon initial bootup, you may get prompted to create a login. This is for the EZStation Program exclusively. Typically we’ll recommend setting the same login as your NVR.

Once Running, You should get a Main Screen:

Step 2. Log Into Your Cloud Account

First, Go into the Device Management section.

Next, Select Cloud Device on the left side, then Login.

A popup box will appear to input your cloud login info. Once entered, Click Login

A Load screen will appear, then you should be logged in.
Now your linked devices will be listed under My Cloud Device

Step 3. Viewing Your Device

Now that we are logged in, we should be able to view whatever devices are on the linked account

First, go back to the Control Panel Tab, Then select the Live View Section

From here, Double click on your device on the left side and any cameras linked will appear

How To Share Your Device Via EZCloud Portal

Each Uniview device is limited to only be registered one single EZcloud account at one time.

Due to this limitation, sharing the device is needed to be accomplished to allow other wanted registered users to access your Uniview device.

To do so login to your EZCloud account via the web (Click Here) and select the “Share” option under the My Cloud Devices -> Operation section.

Once you select share it will prompt you to a new page where you will need to fill in the below three pictured fields. Once all fields are filled in select Confirm.

How To Share Your Device Via EZView Mobile App

Each Uniview device is limited to only be registered one single EZcloud account at one time.

Due to this limitation, sharing the device is needed to be accomplished to allow other wanted registered users to access your Uniview device.

From the Live View in EZView, Select the 3 Horizontal Lines in the top left-hand corner:

Once the Device is selected, Input the User’s info that you want to share it to, the Expiration Date, Roles, and hit Share.

How To Enable App Alerts Via EZView

App alerts are great if you would like to be notified when an event gets triggered.

This guide is for after the device has already been added via EZCloud

From the live view, click on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left-hand corner:

Select Alarm Notifications:

Select Allow Notifications:

Enable the Device you want notifications for and then select Advanced:

Select the same device again:

Choose the specific cameras you’d like alerts from on the NVR, or select the entire NVR:

You can also set a Notification Schedule. If you do not create one, then notifications will come through 24/7:

You can also select the Event Type you’d like to get alerts from:

Events

• Motion Detection – Basic Grid Based Event
• VCA – Smart Events such as Line Crossing, Intrusion Detection, etc. (Your camera must support that event to allow notifications)
• Alarm Input – Event triggered via physical Alarm Input
• Video Loss – Anytime video feed loses signal
• Others – Can include Device Exceptions events such as HDD error, IP Conflict, Bandwidth Errors, etc.

How To Unbind From Cloud Account

Occasionally, you may come across the need to unbind your Uniview NVR from its current cloud account. Either a new user is taking over an existing system or the cloud account is no longer accessible are some example use cases.

HDMI UI

From the Live View of the HDMI interface of the Uniview NVR, click on the Home Icon in the bottom left-hand corner to access the menu of the NVR.

Once the Main Menu is opened up, go to Network -> Basic -> EZCloud.

From the EZCloud Menu, Click on the Delete icon to unbind from its current cloud account.

Web UI

From the Live View of the Web Interface of the Uniview NVR, go to Setup -> Network -> EZCloud -> Delete

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Adding your DVR / NVR using Device ID

Your DVR / NVR can be manually added to the FLIR Cloud Client software by entering the device ID. FLIR Cloud Client software is available for download on PC / Mac. Click here for more information on locating software downloads.

Prerequisite:

• The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac. The instructions below are shown using a Windows 10 operating system.

To manually add the DVR / NVR using a device ID:

1. Launch FLIR Cloud Client software on your computer.
2. Enter your login information. Refer to your user manual for your default Username and Password if needed.
3. Click Login to open the Home window.
4. Click the Devices icon () to open the Devices tab.
5. Click Manual Add on the bottom-left corner to open the Manual Add window.
6. In the Manual Add window, enter the following:
   • Device Name: Enter the Device Name of your choice to identify the DVR / NVR.
   • Device ID: Enter the device ID or scan the QR code located on the top of the DVR / NVR.
   • Client Port: Enter the Client Port value (default: 35000).
   • User Name: Enter the DVR / NVR User Name. Refer to your user manual for your default Username if needed.
   • Password: Enter the DVR / NVR Password. Refer to your user manual for your default Password if needed.
7. Click Add to connect your DVR / NVR. The connection may take a few minutes.
8. Click Home, and then double-click Default Group to load your connected cameras.

If you are not able to connect to your DVR / NVR using the device ID on the same network, you may be experiencing a NAT Loopback issue. Routers recognize and connect to DVR / NVR via IP address. To connect your system from the same network, use the IP address of the DVR / NVR. Click here for details on using the IP address to manually connect your DVR / NVR.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Adding your DVR / NVR using IP address

Your LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR system can be manually added to the FLIR Cloud Client software by entering the system IP address.

Prerequisites:

• Download and install the FLIR Cloud Client software
• Ensure you have the IP address of your LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR system.
• The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac. The instructions below are shown using a Windows 10 operating system.

To manually add the LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR using an IP address:

1. Launch FLIR Cloud Client software on your computer to open the Login window.
2. Enter your login information. Refer to your user manual for your default Username and Password.
3. Click Login to open the Home window.
4. Click the Devices icon () to open the Devices tab.
5. Click Manual Add on the bottom-left corner to open the Manual Add window.
6. In the Manual Add window, enter the following information:
   • Device Name: Enter the Device Name of your choice to identify the DVR / NVR.
   • IP/Domain Name: Ensure the IP/Domain checkbox is checked to enable connection using the IP address. Enter the IP address of the DVR / NVR.
   • Client Port: Enter the Client Port value (default: 35000).
   • User Name: Enter the DVR / NVR User Name.
   • Password: Enter the DVR / NVR Password.
7. Click Add to connect the DVR / NVR. The connection may take a few minutes.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Backing up recorded video to a USB flash drive

You can back up selected recorded video files for storage on a USB flash drive (not included) during playback, or by searching for recorded video files. Ensure you have enough space on your USB flash drive to save the file.

The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac.

To search for and back up recorded video using FLIR Cloud Client software:

1. Insert USB flash drive into the DVR / NVR.
2. Right-click on the Live View to access the Quick Menu and select Main Menu.
3. Log in with your login information. Refer to your user manual for your default Username and Password.
4. Click the Backup icon ().
5. Configure search options using the parameters below to locate the files being stored on the USB drive.
   • Device Name: Select the USB flash drive you inserted.
   • Type: Select the recording type you are searching for (All, Normal, Motion, Alarm, or Alarm and Motion / A+M).
   • Start Time / End Time: Set the start and end times for the search.
   • Record CH: Select the channel the recording was made on or select All to include all channels in the search.
   • File Format: Select the file format you want to save the recording as, .dav for compatibility with Lorex by FLIR video player software, .asf for compatibility with VLC Media Player.

REMINDER: Lorex by FLIR video player software is available for download online. Click here for more information on locating software downloads.

1. Click Add. A list of files that match your search criteria will populate.
2. If the files you would like to backup are present, select the files and click Backup.
3. If the files you would like to backup are not included in the search results, reconfigure your search parameters and search again.

Wait for the backup to complete before removing the USB flash drive.

Video clip backup allows you to select a duration of video during Playback mode and save it to a USB device (not included).

To save a file using video clip backup:

1. Insert USB flash drive into the DVR / NVR and begin playing back video.
2. Click the Video clip icon () to mark the beginning of the video clip. Click the Video clip icon () again to mark the end.
3. Click Save () to open the Backup Menu.
4. Configure the following:
   1. Select the USB device you want to save to.
   2. Select the files you would like to backup.
   3. Click Backup > Start.

Wait for backup to complete before removing the USB flash drive.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Creating a new user

FLIR Cloud Client software creates a default administrator account when the software is initially installed. To ensure your administrative access remains protected, it is recommended to create a new user account should another person require access to the system.

IMPORTANT: We recommend that you test the user accounts that you create by logging into them and testing their permissions. This allows you to check that the account is set up with the correct permissions. It is not recommended to share your administrator credentials with another person.

Prerequisite:

The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac.

To create a new user account:

1. Launch the FLIR Cloud Client software on your computer.
2. Click the Account tab () on the home page.
3. Click Add to open the Add User window.
4. Enter the new User Name and Password.
5. Select the Role for the user account.
6. Select the User Rights permissions for the user account.
7. Click Save to save your settings.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Downloading recorded video on PC / Mac

FLIR Cloud Client software allows you to download recorded video onto your PC / Mac.

Prerequisite:

• Download and install FLIR Cloud Client software on your PC / Mac. Click here for more information on locating software downloads.
• The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac.

To download recorded video:

1. Launch the FLIR Cloud Client software on your computer.
2. On the Home window, click the PLAYBACK icon. () to open the PLAYBACK tab.
3. On the right-side under the Device tab, select the Device Name and cameras that you would like to play back from.
4. On the bottom-right under View, in the From drop-down and To drop-down, select a date range.
5. Click Search to view recorded video for the selected date range.
6. Click the Play icon () to start viewing your recorded video.
7. Click a specific time on your timeline to select a starting time, then click the Time Clip icon (). A timeline market indicates a start time for your playback download.
8. Click a specific time on your timeline to select an end time and click the Time Clip icon () to open the Export Setup window.
9. Click Browse to select the where you want to save your recorded video.
10. Select the Export Format for your recorded video. The available options for exporting video are:
    • .asf
    • .avi
    • .mp4
    • .dav

LIMITATION: Mac operating systems only support downloading recorded videos to .dav format.

1. Click OK to open an Information window, then click OK again.
2. Click the Export icon () on the bottom-right to open the Export window and view your status. Once the video is completed, you can find the video file in your selected folder.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: FLIR PC-NVR installation and setup

FLIR PC-NVR is software bundled with the FLIR Cloud Client software download. It is a completely separate software, and one does not require the other to function.

FLIR PC-NVR turns the computer into an NVR and will use your hard disk drive (HDD) on your PC to store recorded video.

IMPORTANT: If you install PC-NVR and want to remove it afterwards, you must uninstall FLIR Cloud Client software entirely and re-install it with the PC-NVR option not selected. Uninstalling FLIR Cloud Client will require the administrator password. If you do not have this password, you must contact technical support for assistance in recovering your password.

The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC.

REMINDER: FLIR PC-NVR can be installed while installing FLIR Cloud Client. However, if it is not initially installed, FLIR Cloud will need to be uninstalled and re-installed to install FLIR PC-NVR at a later date.

Prerequisites:

• Ensure FLIR Cloud Client software and FLIR PC-NVR are downloaded on your PC.
• Record the device ID and IP address of the camera or DVR / NVR system you want to add to PC-NVR.
  • Accessing system information on your ECO Series DVR
  • Accessing system information on your LHV / LNR Series DVR / NVR
• Ensure your PC is connected to the same network as your DVR / NVR system.
• Manually add your camera or DVR / NVR system to FLIR Cloud Client software

To add a channel from the DVR / NVR in FLIR PC-NVR:

1. Launch FLIR Cloud Client software on your computer, then click PC-NVR.
2. Click the Plus icon () to open the Add Channel window.
3. Enter the device ID or IP address of the system you want to add.
4. Select the channel you want to add using the checkbox, then click Import.

Once you have added the channel, you can configure your hard disk drive (HDD) settings for your PC.

To configure your HDD settings:

• Click PC-NVR > Disk Management, then configure the following:
  • When disk is full: Select Stop Recording or Overwrite.

CAUTION: Overwrite will save recorded video over the oldest saved files when your hard drive is full.

• • Allocate: Enter hard drive space you would like FLIR PC-NVR to use.

TIP: FLIR PC-NVR is compatible with an external USB HDD.

You can set a recording schedule for each connected camera in FLIR PC-NVR.

To set a recording schedule for a camera:

1. Click Record Plan.
2. Select the channel you want to set a recording schedule for.
3. Select Continuous, Motion, or Alarm, then click and drag in the timeline of each day to customize the recording schedule.
   • Continuous: Your camera will record continuously.
   • Motion: Your camera will record when it detects motion.
   • Alarm: Your camera will alert you when it detects motion.

TIP: Setting a recording schedule in FLIR PC-NVR does not affect the recording schedule set on your DVR / NVR system.

Your PC-NVR will behave as a virtual NVR system and save your recorded video to your PC. FLIR PC-NVR shows in the Device list and behaves like any other DVR / NVR system in the FLIR Cloud Client software.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Forgotten password

If you are unable to log in to your FLIR Cloud Client software due to a forgotten password, contact Technical Support for a password reset. For security, passwords cannot be reset using the online support system.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Missing Next / Cancel buttons during installation

If you are installing FLIR Cloud Client software and you cannot locate and click Next / Cancel to complete / cancel the installation, the DPI resolution on your monitor may not be optimized for the software. This can be corrected by changing your screen resolution.

Prerequisite:

• The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac. Instructions below are based on a Windows 7 operating system.

To change your screen resolution:

1. Right-click on your desktop.
2. Click Personalize.
3. On the bottom-left of the Personalize window, click Display.
4. To change the size of text and windows on your screen, select the Smaller – 100% (default) option.
5. Click Apply.

Once you have completed these steps, you can restart your computer, or log off and then log on again. Launch the FLIR Cloud Client software installation wizard. After installation, you can change the monitor resolution again to your preferences in the Display window.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Modifying administrator username and password

When you first install your FLIR Cloud Client software, the username and password are set to defaults. Refer to your user manual for the default user name and password for your system. Click here for downloads and documentation for your product. Upon setup using the default user name and password, you will have full access to all of the features of FLIR Cloud Client and your connected DVR / NVR systems as the Administrator. It is recommended that you change the administrator user name and password for security purposes.

The following instructions require you to access your system using the FLIR Cloud Client software and a PC / Mac.

To change your administrator password:

1. Launch the FLIR Cloud Client software on your computer. If prompted, enter your user name and password.
2. Click the Account tab () on the home page.
3. Select the user from the list that you want to change, then click the Pencil icon () to open the Modify User window.
4. Enter your new password and confirm.
5. Click Save. A prompt confirms that your user information has been successfully modified.

IMPORTANT: If you are unable to log in to your FLIR Cloud Client software due to a forgotten password, contact Technical Support for a password reset. For security, passwords cannot be reset using the online support system.

FLIR Cloud Client Software: Preventing software from filling up hard disk drive on PC / Mac

PC

FLIR PC-NVR bundled software is included with FLIR Cloud Client software, and is available to be installed when you install FLIR Cloud Client software. FLIR PC-NVR software turns your PC into an NVR by storing recorded video from your cameras onto your local hard disk drive (HDD). To disable this, go into your computer Control Panel and uninstall FLIR PC-NVR software.

Mac

If you are using a Mac and an older version of FLIR Cloud Client software, it could be storing .dmg files in the root of the FLIR Cloud Client folder. To resolve this issue, uninstall the older version of FLIR Cloud Client software, then download and install the latest version of FLIR Cloud Client software. Click here for more information on locating software downloads.

Install and login to P6SLite For Pc

Find the file   in the software directory, double-click the EasyVMS installation file to install the client software, and the login dialog box will pop up, as shown below. The current page will be adapted according to the full Chinese and English systems.

Then click Run EasyVMS software and choose the language that suits you to log in to the system;

Local login user name default: admin, password default: empty; After logging in, select the software in the upper right corner   to log out of the software;

Cloud account login, please enter APP P6SLite account, currently supports scanning code login and manual account input (manual input requires attention to the choice of server)

Interface Introduction

The main navigation buttons at the top of the interface are real-time preview, remote playback, electronic album, device management, system log, alarm information, plan recording, system settings, click the navigation button to enter the corresponding configuration interface. On the left side of the interface is the device navigation, on the right is the display area, and in the upper right corner are the help, logout, minimize, maximize, and close buttons. Start with device management and add devices.

Device Management

Click the Device Management button to enter the Device Management page, as shown in the following figure; On the device management page, you can perform manual adding, modifying, batch deleting, batch upgrading, APP cloud account management, region adding, as well as batch adding, batch modifying IP, and successfully added devices, right-click remote settings, time synchronization, clear alarms, display QR codes and other functions.

Zone configuration

For easy zone device management (the default zone is preferred when added by camera), you can right-click the default zone to customize the new zone, or click Add Zone below.

ADD P6SLite Camera

Click the refresh button in the lower right corner to search for the P6SLite camera

Select the IP address of the camera, then click “Batch Change IP” to modify the IP address of the camera.

If you don’t know how to modify the IP address, please check the “Refer to the computer network card to set the IP” software will automatically modify the IP address according to your network environment, of course, you can also manually modify the IP address.

The default user name of the device: admin, password: empty, click Confirm, save the modified IP address, and then click the refresh button again, search for the new IP address again, and then select the IP address and click Add in bulk.

Then click the real-time preview button to enter the preview interface

Double-click the IP address of the camera on the right, and the video will be automatically displayed in the surveillance screen on the right.

If you add multiple devices, you can select the Default Region context menu and select Turn on automatically, Open by region, Close preview by region.

Delete Camera

Select one or more devices to be deleted in the device list, click the Delete button, the system will prompt whether to confirm the deletion of the device, click the [OK] button, the device on the default zone list will be deleted.

Upgrade Camera

Local upgrade: Select the device you want to upgrade in the list of added devices, and then select Bulk upgrade. Be sure to restore the factory settings after the upgrade is successful.

Cloud Upgrade: Select the device to be upgraded in the list of added devices, and then select Cloud Upgrade (whether the device supports cloud upgrade), otherwise the Cloud Upgrade page will not be prompted

Enter the remote playback interface, select the channel that needs to be played back on the left device tree (Note: currently only supports one playback all the way), select the date on the calendar, click the “Search” button, the system starts to search for the recording in the hard disk recorder (or local hard disk), and display the search results in the search results panel. As shown in the following figure:

• Pause the playback button, tap the playback pause while the recording is playing, and tap again to resume playback.

• Click   Playback capture button, you can take a screenshot of the playback screen.

Timeline operations

(1) The scale on the timeline is 0-24 points.

(2) Mouse over the timeline to scroll to zoom in and out of the timeline.

(3) Double-click the timeline to play it directly.

Device control

The device management interface can also control the device, including: time synchronization, camera restart, clear alarm, etc.

Time synchronization

In the Device Management > the Added Device interface, select the device and click the [Time Sync] button to synchronize the device time with the PC time.

System settings

Click System Settings to enter the local settings of the software.

1. You can set the EasyVMS software to automatically open at startup, check the button    , and save. After saving, EasyVMS will automatically run after the next boot.
2. You can set the automatic calibration interval time of the device, check the button , and enter the interval time (such as: 120). After saving, each device will automatically calibrate every 120 minutes. It is recommended to calibrate every 30 minutes
3. You can set the local recording duration, select the recording duration input box, and enter the recording duration (for example: 30). Once saved, each recording is saved with an interval of 30 minutes. You can also set the recording format and select the recording format (e.g. PRV/AVI). After saving, the local recording format is . PRV.  A dedicated PRV player can be downloaded on the official website
4. You can set the log retention period and directly select the recording duration (e.g. six months). Once saved, logs are retained for six months.
5. You can set the capture and video saving path, click to select the path, such as (G: EasyVMSImage/ G: EasyVMSVideo). After saving, the capture path is set to G: EasyVMSImage, the recording path is set to G: EasyVMSVideo.

Account management: Enter the system settings interface to manage local account login, including creating operator users, creating guest users, modifying user passwords, and deleting devices.

Click the “System Settings” button, click the “Account Management” button, click [Create], enter the new user name, password and user group (such as operator) to save, the user group will have one more new user “user1”.

Click the [Account Management] button, select the operator user user1, and click [Delete]. After deletion, the new user disappears.

Currently, there are three levels of user permissions:

• Administrator: Administrator privileges, which can perform device management, user management, video monitoring, video playback, log query, switch users, and log out of the client.
• Operator: Video monitoring, video playback, log viewing, user switching, password modification.
• Guest: Video monitoring, switching users, password modification.

Double-click the device name in the left device to open a preview of all channels of the device on the right preview interface, as shown below:

To turn off single-way preview, you can right-click “Close Preview” on the list that pops up the video channel to turn off the channel preview.

On the Preview Actions tab, the following figure is shown.

• The icon  is to turn off the full channel preview button, clicking it will close all preview screens.
• The icon   is the capture button, click to capture the current channel image to the local computer.
• The icon   is the on/off full-channel recording button, clicking it will enable/disable full-channel recording.
• The icon   is the on/off audio button, clicking it will turn channel audio on/off.
• The icon   is the screen split button, click to set the number of screen split paths, currently supports single screen, four screen, nine screen, sixteen screen, twenty-five screen, thirty-six screen road preview.
• The icon   is a preview of the next video screen, which can be used in single screen, four screen, nine screen, sixteen screen, twenty-five screen, thirty-six screen, etc.
• The icon   is a full-screen toggle button, click to switch to full-screen preview. In full screen, you can right-click “exit full screen” or press the keyboard ESC key to exit.
• The icon   is a group tour, and you can group the picture in the case of many cameras or NVR images. Then make a grouped preview

Right-click menu control

Select the real-time preview channel on the preview interface and right-click to bring up the right-click control menu, as shown below:

• Click the [Close Preview] button, and the preview of the current channel screen will be closed.
• Click the [Turn on sound] button to open the audio preview for the current channel.
• Click the [Capture] button, the capture of the current channel is turned on, and the image is saved locally.
• Click the [Start Recording] button to enable single-channel recording on the current channel, and save the recording to the local computer.
• Click the [Screen Scale] button to set the current preview screen scale to the original scale or fill scale.
• Click the [Full screen] button to switch the preview screen to full screen. Consistent with the Full Screen feature in the toolbar below the preview action page.
• Click the [Clarity] button to set the channel quality as the main stream/substream (valid only for P2P (added by ID number) settings).
• Click the [Voice Intercom] button to shout to the front-end camera.
• Click the [Electronic Magnification] button to perform electronic amplification operation on the channel.

IR-CUT switching time (the larger the modification value, the longer the switching time): Extend the time to switch black and white images.

The image is flipped, and the image can be selected to be corrected by software when the camera is hoisted.

WiFi settings

Select SSID (wifi name), click search, enter wifi password.

Client logs

Enter the system log interface, select the client log, select the user, start time, end time and other conditions to filter, click the [Query] button, you can query all the operation log information according to the conditions, each log information includes the operation user name, machine IP, time, description and other information.

Electronic photo album

The electronic album is mainly used for the management of local channel capture and post-recording files, and users can search for viewing and deleting a series of operations according to different filter types.

Search by device, select any device, and search for local pictures and videos under that device.
Search by date, select a date (e.g. June 5) to search for local images and videos under that date.
Search by media type, select the image/video type (e.g. Video) to search all local video files.
In addition, you can delete and jump the playback operation of the picture/video, and directly select the file and right-click to execute.

Alarm information

The alarm information interface records all types of alarm information of the software, including motion detection, video loss, alarm input, heartbeat loss, etc., and users can view, export and backup operations on various alarm information.

View alarm information

Select the alarm information type (for example, only check Video Loss and Alarm Input) to view all categories of alarm information: click the [Export] button, select the save path, and export the alarm information to the local computer.
